This beautiful wedding is a prime example of why community is so important!! As most of you know, we work as locals in both Los Angeles and New York… and every once in a blue moon two very important events are taking place on the same weekend on both coasts… and while Tim and I can split up (so we can quite literally be in two places at once!) we are so very grateful for the incredibly talented friends/photographers who help us out in cases like this! While I was in NYC, Tim and the badass Billye Donya knocked this gorgeous day out of the park in DTLA!!

This wedding was such a perfect mix of urban + bohemian, all made possible by the brilliant team behind 3 Little Birds Event Planning!

Sunny and Troy- you guys are as good as it gets  🙂 While I wasn’t on hand physically this day, working with you leading up was a complete joy and I know Tim and Billye walked away from your wedding feeling energized, excited, and so very thankful for this incredibly fun and laughter filled experience!!

Now, onto the images… these were so hard to narrow down, so please excuse the long post 🙂

Sunny + Troy- we love you guys are are forever grateful you trusted us all to document this time in your lives!!

How rad is this custom lining?!?…I mean, what are girlfriends for??? 🙂… and this moment when Sunny’s mama saw her all ready for the first time!! It makes me tear up every time I look at it!

These two. I wish I had adequate words to describe what a joy it was working with them! Sam + Mike are the kind of people you just want to be around- they exude joy and warmth and inclusiveness- and they were so very excited to marry one another!!

A few weeks before their big day, they found out that the original venue they had booked was unable to host their wedding… while news like this could completely derail someone, they handled it with so much grace (and a bit of wine, of course!) and we were so thrilled when we heard they were able to book Bryant Park Grill for the same date!

This day couldn’t have been more beautiful and we were so very honored to be there to document all the love! Sam + Mike- thank you for being your wonderful selves 🙂  I just know you have the most incredible and laughter-filled future ahead of you!!

Best friends get you soft pretzels from the street vendor on your wedding day 🙂
