These two. I wish I had adequate words to describe what a joy it was working with them! Sam + Mike are the kind of people you just want to be around- they exude joy and warmth and inclusiveness- and they were so very excited to marry one another!!

A few weeks before their big day, they found out that the original venue they had booked was unable to host their wedding… while news like this could completely derail someone, they handled it with so much grace (and a bit of wine, of course!) and we were so thrilled when we heard they were able to book Bryant Park Grill for the same date!

This day couldn’t have been more beautiful and we were so very honored to be there to document all the love! Sam + Mike- thank you for being your wonderful selves πŸ™‚Β  I just know you have the most incredible and laughter-filled future ahead of you!!

This was one of those weddings that just made our hearts feel full. Sydni +Alex planned every aspect of their wedding to reflect them, their families, their heritage, and their love and we were beyond thrilled to experience and document all of it πŸ™‚

This day was a true labor of love! Sydni’s brother basically created the ceremony space on the property by hand, building a small alter and carving pathways for the wedding party and guests! There was a Norwegian wedding cake, a handmade quilt displayed, a heritage table that included hand carved Dutch clogs, and their guests received homemade jam. Needless to say, this wedding was intentional- FULL of hugs, laughter, words of encouragement, and the happiest of tears.

We are so incredibly thankful for this job and all the joy it brings to our lives and are so thrilled to share some of our favorite images from this love filled day!

Family group hug before the ceremony!!!!Sydni’s parents walked her halfway, then she and Alex walked the rest of the way into their ceremony together… really loved thisΒ  πŸ™‚Can we just take a moment to soak in how happy these two are on the left??? Best recessional ever! While most of this day was put together by the bride, groom, and their wonderful families, there still is a bit of Vendor Love to share!

Oh, just another reminder why I love my job SO. DANG. MUCH.

Yes, we primarily reside in NYC, but I am fortunate enough to find myself on the west coast pretty often (many thanks to family members who let me treat their homes as my own!) and I am blown away by how supportive our LA based clients always are!! Below are a few families I have been lucky enough to watch grow over the years. They have welcomed me into their lives over and over again to document what truly matters. Love… and family πŸ™‚

This was the most wonderful celebration for these two lovebirds! We first documented their intimate Central Park wedding (see it here!) Then we met up a couple months later in Brooklyn to celebrate with all of their friends- and it was definitely a good party πŸ™‚

Always love working at The Wythe Hotel and all our love and congratulations to Heather + Brendan <3
