Well, now. This day was a total dream From the moment we met with Christiana and Jonathan, they mentioned they wanted their wedding to feel like an escape to Italy! Christiana has spent quite a bit of time out there and has so many wonderful memories and really wanted their wedding to represent such a special place to her!! Between the gorgeous architecture of Westminster Presbytarian and stunning grounds of Villa del Sol d’Oro, we were overwhelmed with all the beauty surrounding us (and took about a zillion pictures!).
One of the best parts about our job are the people we meet along the way. Christiana and Jonathan are two of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever had the privilege of working with. And with an incredibly talented group of vendors behind them, they had one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever seen! Lush florals, yummy italian food, a beautiful dress with an equally impressive train, bocce ball, and a killer dance party… We couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces the entire day!
During Christiana’s father’s speech, he said something that I think every bride and groom need to hear. He asked them to stop. To look around them. And to take it all in. This seems simple enough, but really resonated with us. Weddings can take so much time to plan, they can be expensive, hours (and hours and hours) can be spent on pinterest and other wedding inspiration blogs… but at the end of the day, you are surrounded by all the people you love most in the world. A wedding is a true celebration of love and commitment and that in itself is really incredible.
We can’t thank Christiana, Jonathan, and their families enough for welcoming us as though we’ve been friends for years!. And most importantly, thank you for being a reminder of why we love our job so very much… Now on to the million photos
This was one of the best parts of the day! Jonathan had to use the restroom before their first look and the only way to get there from the groom’s room was to walk through the room where Christiana was getting dressed! I love her face hereLove this moment directly after they were married
